Aaron Martinez is a trial lawyer with more than 10 years of experience in providing high-quality legal, legislative, political consulting, and media strategy services. As a former broadcaster and radio morning show host for WDBM-FM, Aaron knows the power behind telling a good story - your story. Attorney Martinez now takes his unique experience and approach to courtrooms throughout the state of Michigan. Elected officials, professional athletes, and other high-profile individuals have all benefitted from Mr. Martinez’s tenacious and confidential advocacy.

Attorney Martinez is a proud graduate of the James Madison College at Michigan State University and the University of Detroit Mercy Law School. While law school, Aaron earned the Dean’s Scholarship for all three years of study and the Book Award for the Trial Advocacy litigation course. As a member of the Detroit Mercy Law Criminal Trial Clinic, Mr. Martinez represented individuals charged with crimes at the 36th District Court in Detroit, earning several dismissals for his clients. Aaron Martinez is not afraid to take a case to trial to defend the right of his clients.

Along with his mentor Michael Nichols, Mr. Martinez is the co-author of the Michigan Bar Journal article entitled “Driving Legally in a World of Recreational Marijuana.” Throughout his career, Mr. Martinez has developed legal strategies which have achieved his clients’ objectives.

Mr. Martinez’s legislative and political experience includes serving as a Legislative Director for a State Representative. While in public service, Mr. Martinez has worked on and overseen numerous pieces of successful bipartisan legislation, including PA 312 of 2014 which provides Michigan’s police first responders with heroin overdose treatments and the training on how to administer them. Additional legislative accomplishments include his staff work on Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Child Care Task Force on behalf of Rep. Kelly Breen of Novi. He has previously worked with the Michigan House Judiciary Committee. Since 2018, Mr. Martinez has advised and consulted with political candidates at the local, state, and federal levels with a winning percentage of victory.

Mr. Martinez resides in Novi with his wife April and their infant son, their dog Jack, and their pesky cat Lily. When he’s not advocating for his clients, he can be found listening to music or exploring new places.
